How To Lose Back Fat ... the 'Dumb' Way
Posted On 9/25/2006 10:52:03 AM by Sandy
Many people are so preoccupied with their fat gut, chubby thighs or flabby arms, they don't even think about fat in the back as being a problem. The one exception I often encounter is women who are aware that they have unsightly rolls of fat spilling from under their bra straps, and want to do something about it.

Ironman Triathlon History & Cartoon Fun by Brownielocks
Posted On 9/20/2007 6:12:20 AM by TriFatlete
Learn how this competition all got started in Hawaii. The Ironman Triathlon began in 1978. A naval commander named John Collins (stationed at this time in Hawaii) was sitting at an awards ceremony for a local Honolulu running race. He ended up in a hot argument over which athletes were in the best condition: runners or swimmers. John Collins himself was both a runner and a swimmer. He had been reading about the bike race the Tour de France and it's legend Eddie Merckx. He decided that cyclists were in the best condition of all. So he issued a challenge that he felt would settle the argument.

I'll Run for Donuts
Posted On 6/4/2008 6:28:38 PM by TriFatlete
This blog is about my two hobbies: eating donuts and running. Suprisingly, the two are related. I suppose my donut-love started when I was 15 and got a job at my dad’s friend’s Daylight Donut shop. Even before that, my dad would make homemade donuts for special occasions, like when we had a hankerin’ for donuts. I guess that explains why my Wranglers said “husky” on the tag. My love for running started in 2006 when we bought a treadmill. With a family to take care of and a family history of diabetes and heart disease, I figured that was a good time to change what could turn into a sour health situation later in life. I don't belong to a running club, but I do belong to the office donut club. I allow myself a donut if I've logged a minimum number of miles by donut day. So, run on! And stop to enjoy a donut along the way.
