1982: Dhahran Track Meet

This race is one of my favorites to tell. Mainly I realized during this day that I was a tremendous talent in running. I had hoped to do well in this track meet and it ended up this was my only positive in an otherwise disappointing meet. Now, I usually did not have a terrible meet, but this at least made up for my horrible 800 meter run. I still remember the roar of the crowd as I passed the lead runner after making up almost a quarter of a mile.
