26m has evolved over the past few years and in the last year we have focused, re-focused
and also changed the look/free of the site (http://www.26m.com). Finally, after many iterations
and many of changes, we have decided to become your running resource start line. What that means
is that we aggregate many running resources and try and put everything in one place.
So instead of trying to search for articles, links, tools, videos, photos, our goals is
to provide a place you can go to first and find what your lookig for. Just like a race
startline we will soon be implementing more "social" tools so we can all enjoy running and
a healthly lifestyle together.
We intend to include a bunch of resources and we will continue to look at expanding. Our site is
only as good as our visitors. So, we are looking at making it easy to add links and articles.
Eventually, we will include a way for our users to enter their own stories and articles.
We are also working on making it easier to add links to our site, however for now here
are the easiest ways to add content.
-
Go to our submission page
- Post to 26m (using our bookmarklet)
Post In 26m takes you right into 26m to add your bookmark. After saving the new
bookmark you can stay in 26m to start looking for similar items, or get back to
what you were doing.
Click and Drag the following link to your favorites ->
Post to 26m
- If you use Internet Explorer 6 and some other browsers, you may find that you cannot
add bookmarklets by dragging them. Just follow these steps to work around this problem.
Right-click (or control-click for Mac) the following bookmarklet link and then click
Add to Favorites. ->
Post to 26m
Certain browsers may warn you about a security issue. Click OK if you receive a
security alert. This is safe because you know that the bookmarklet is being added
and what it is for and we are only using it to add links to our site.
Click the "Create In >>" button and select the "Links" folder, and then click OK.
Now, isn't that easy.
*Note, we are working on adding additional ways to add content so stay tuned.
