Alter, benefits of stretching include: enhanced physical fitness, enhanced ability to learn and perform skilled movements, increased mental and physical relaxation, enhanced development of body awareness, reduced risk of injury to joints, muscles, and tendons, reduced muscular soreness, reduced muscular tension and more.
